"And nobody will clear him"

Still and all, we are forced to wait. To watch the politicians dance around the
obvious. To endure one bombshell after another, after another. It is our penance,
I suppose. For our complacency, perhaps. For our assumption that we need
not be vigilant; we need not be ever cognizant that our democratic institutions
are fragile, subject to corruption and manipulation.

Our reformation will be slow, and painful, and may perhaps even cause our
nation to permanently fracture. But we cannot fritter away this opportunity to
rebuild. We must punish and banish those who have placed party over country
and push our elected leaders to return us to the path that was so carefully laid
out for us by our Founders.

We have no other option but to persevere. And so, we shall.
